Hi everyone and thank you for visiting my website! Poetry has been such a huge part of my life since the age of 11 and I wanted to be able to share it with other aspiring poets. I first started writing poetry when I was required to write a haiku poem for one of my classes in elementary school. After that assignment, I took an interest in writing and have been writing ever since. For me, poetry has always been an escape and somewhere where I can truly be who I am. My inspiration for my poems comes from the most unexpected places and I don't focus on a certain feeling or emotion. I write not only about my own feelings and emotions but the experiences of people that I may not know personally. One of my favorite places to write is a park in my college town that overlooks the water. One of the the most beautiful things about poetry is that there is no concrete answer. Everyone has their own interpretations of the underlying message or their own connection to a poem.
