I read this in September and Rupi Kaur does an amazing job of celebrating love in all different forms. If you are new to poetry, this is an easy read that can spark your interest!
I read this in October on a plane to Seattle. This is also by Rupi Kaur. This is another easy read for people who recently took in an interest in poetry. The book is split into 4 sections. It is for people who have gone through heartbreak, who are lost, who are healing, and people who are learning to love again,
This is the most recent one I have read and is my favorite by far. The reason I enjoyed this so much is because it has something for everyone. It touches all types of emotions and varies page to page.
I read this in the summer and I love how brutally honest these poems are. It is a nice change of pace seeing a males perspective of women through a poetic mind.
I loved the first one so much that I decided to read the second. Although it is more blunt and to the point than the first, it has a great way of portraying the vulnerbility people go through in all types of love.
